• Does the Shelly Dimmer Gen3 work without a neutral wire?

  Yes, it works without neutral at a 20 W minimum load. For fixtures under 20 W fit the included bypass to avoid flicker. With a neutral connected it also measures consumption.
• What maximum lighting power does it support?

  It supports loads up to 200 W with trailing-edge dimming, suited to dimmable LEDs and drivers. The supply is 220-240 V~ 50 Hz.
• Does it have Zigbee or Matter?

  No. This generation uses WiFi 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 4.2 BLE; there is no Zigbee, Matter or Thread. Integration runs through your home WiFi network.
• Will it fit in a standard wall box behind the switch?

  Yes, the body is 38 x 42.5 x 16.5 mm and fits common round wall boxes. Check the box depth before fitting, especially in older homes.
• Which smart home systems does it integrate with?

  It integrates natively with Home Assistant, Google Home and Amazon Alexa and supports scenes, schedules and scripts from the Shelly Smart Control app.
• Can I use a momentary button or only a switch?

  The two inputs S1 and S2 accept both ordinary switches and momentary buttons, enabling one-button or two-button control straight from the wall.
