With USB Type-C and USB-to-TCP/IP passthrough, the SLZB-MR3U hands its two radios — CC2674P10 for Zigbee, EFR32MG24 for Thread — straight to the PC or server running Z2M.
Two radio SoCs in one box — CC2652P7 and EFR32MG21 — so the SLZB-MR1 runs a Zigbee network and a Thread network in parallel from a single PoE or USB-C coordinator.

Most SMLight models expose Zigbee 3.0 or Matter, making them natively compatible with Home Assistant (Zigbee2MQTT / ZHA) and with Apple Home via Matter bridge. For Wi-Fi proprietary models (e.g. some cloud-only Sonoff subsets) we can flash Tasmota or ESPHome firmware on request.
