What is needed besides the device?
You need dimmable lamps or LED strips, a dimmer or driver that suits them, and a button or panel for scenes. Zigbee dimmers also need a gateway or hub.
Will it work without internet?
We design core automation for local control. Remote access, phone notifications, some voice services and integrations may require internet or additional subscriptions. Dependencies are explained for the chosen system.
