Apartment or private house?
Apartments start with no-neutral relays in back-boxes + Zigbee sensors. Private houses justify a local hub, KNX on technical zones, and PoE cameras.

Is there a neutral wire in the back-boxes?
No neutral — pick a "no-neutral" Sonoff or MOES relay. With neutral — any Zigbee/Wi-Fi module works, more scenario flexibility.

Cloud or local-first?
Local-first (Home Assistant + Zigbee) = automations keep working when the internet drops. Cloud (Tuya, eWeLink) = cheaper but tied to external services.

What is the hub budget?
Home Assistant Green ~3,500 MDL — full local hub. Sonoff iHost ~2,200 MDL — clean Zigbee. Aqara M3 ~2,800 MDL — closed Aqara ecosystem.

Can I replace switches without pulling new wiring?
Yes. We use "no-neutral" Zigbee relays that drop into the existing back-box. They work with most Moldovan installations.
Which devices work with Apple Home?
All Matter devices, Sonoff with Matter firmware, Aqara via the Aqara hub, Home Assistant via the HomeKit Bridge.
How long does installation take?
1-2 days for an apartment with ~20 points. Houses with KNX require a preliminary visit.
Can I continue on my own after the base install?
Yes. We hand over documented dashboards and a 30-60 minute training session in the showroom or on Zoom.
