• Does the Shelly Wave PRO 2PM need a Z-Wave hub?

  Yes. The module uses the Z-Wave protocol and must be joined to a network run by a compatible Z-Wave gateway, which is not included. Without a controller it cannot be configured or controlled remotely.
• What maximum load does each channel handle?

  Each of the two channels handles up to 16 A, while the total limit per module is 25 A. Supply voltage is 110-240 V AC.
• Does the device measure energy consumption?

  Yes. The Shelly Wave PRO 2PM has built-in power metering and reports consumption per channel separately or combined over the Z-Wave network to the gateway.
• What Z-Wave frequency does it use in Moldova?

  The European version works on the 868.4 MHz band and uses the Z-Wave S800 chip with Z-Wave Long Range support. This is the correct band for Moldova and the European Union.
• How is the module installed?

  It mounts on a DIN rail inside the distribution board, occupying a single module of 94 x 19 x 69 mm. Mains-voltage work means installation must be done by a qualified electrician.
• Which smart home systems does it integrate with?

  As a standard Z-Wave device it integrates through the Z-Wave gateway with systems such as Home Assistant and SmartThings, alongside other certified Z-Wave equipment.
