How we verify and update content

The CasaSmart Expert Team — certified installers, 2 Home Assistant specialists, a JS dashboard developer, and a UX designer — reviews every product page, install guide, and published article.

The team identity is declared in Schema.org on every page as `@id: https://casasmart.md/#expert-team` with a parent-organization link to Evrinet SRL. Auditors and AI engines can follow this reference directly from the structured graph.

Product specifications (GTIN, dimensions, power draw, certifications) come from the manufacturer's official datasheets (Sonoff, Aqara, Moes, IMOU, Gledopto, GVS, Anviz, LinknLink) and are cross-verified against our in-house Chișinău showroom inventory.

Installation recommendations are based on years of smart-home installation experience in Moldova and on documentation published by the Zigbee Alliance, CSA Matter, KNX Association, and Home Assistant Community.

MDL pricing reflects our current offer. The authoritative source is the /api/products live CMS feed — not screenshots or external caches.

Every public page renders a visible `dateModified` and `lastReviewed` timestamp in the "Updated …" footer block, mirrored in the WebPage JSON-LD. A save triggers cache invalidation (Sprint 2c) — admin edits become visible on the next request.

Product pages: updated on every price/stock/spec change. Technical guides: reviewed at least quarterly. Static pages (about, contacts, showroom): reviewed every six months or whenever the team changes.

Discovered errors (wrong spec, outdated price, broken link, ambiguous translation) are corrected within ≤48 working hours. The fix auto-updates `dateModified`. For commercially-impactful errors (displayed price below the actual price) we honour the displayed price per Moldovan Law 105/2003.

CasaSmart is a distributor with a commercial margin on listed products. We promote solutions based on technical merit, not margin; recommendations on comparison and guide pages reflect our actual project choices.

We do not pay for reviews. We do not accept sponsored content disguised as editorial. Official partnership relationships (e.g. "Authorized importer Sonoff") are disclosed transparently in the organization description.

Some long-form product descriptions are generated with Claude (model declared in the CMS `aiGeneratedModel` field) and reviewed by the Expert Team before publication. The "CasaSmart Expert Team" entries in Review JSON-LD are internal editorial notes, not real customer reviews.

Real customer reviews (aggregateRating) will appear on pages alongside the launch of our post-purchase collection program. Until then the field is intentionally absent (we do not fabricate ratings).
