• Which lamps can I connect and what is the maximum load?

  Official limits: dimmable LEDs up to 200 VA, incandescent and halogen up to 400 W, dimmable electronic transformers up to 200 W; current capped at 2 A. Non-dimmable LEDs are not supported — look for the 'dimmable' marking.
• Does it need a neutral wire in the wall box?

  Yes. Terminals L and N take live and neutral, and output O feeds the light. If only the live wire reaches your switch box, the module cannot work until a neutral is pulled in — have an electrician check before buying.
• Will my existing wall switch keep working?

  Yes, it connects to the S1/S2 terminals and keeps controlling the light. Rocker and push-button switches (1, 2 or 3 buttons) are supported; with push buttons, a long press glides the brightness. The switch type is set by triple-pressing the module button or in eWeLink.
• Do I need a hub to use the dimmer?

  Through eWeLink no hub is needed — 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is enough. Matter platforms (Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, SmartThings, Home Assistant) require their controller: a HomePod/Apple TV, Nest Hub, Echo or a Home Assistant server.
• What if my LED flickers or will not dim fully at minimum?

  Run auto calibration: hold the module button for 10 seconds or start it in eWeLink — the dimmer maps the lamp's real brightness range. If the minimum is still unstable, raise the lower limit manually in the app; the manual calibration entry appears after an OTA firmware update.
• Does the MINI-DIM measure energy consumption?

  Yes, the module continuously detects the power drawn by the connected light and syncs the data to the app — you see the fixture's real wattage and usage over time.
• How does overheat protection work and what breaker is required?

  An NTC sensor watches the temperature: on overheating the app shows an alert and the module cuts the load itself. The manufacturer requires a 2 A MCB or RCBO ahead of the device — it is part of a correct installation.
• Does the module fit a standard wall switch box?

  Yes, the 45×39.4×16.8 mm body is designed to sit inside a standard mounting box behind the switch with no extra space needed. Recommended conductors: 18–16 AWG copper (roughly 0.82–1.31 mm²).
