• Does the 2-gang Star Ring dimmer need a hub?

  Yes. The ZS-SR-EUD2 is a Zigbee 3.0 device with no Wi-Fi of its own and does not connect to the internet directly; it needs a Tuya/Zigbee gateway, bought separately. The gateway brings it into the Tuya / Smart Life app and enables voice control via Alexa and Google Home.
• Is a neutral wire mandatory?

  Yes. This dimmer works only in a neutral wiring scheme: the box needs both live and neutral. In older Chișinău flats neutral was not always run to the switch, so check the wiring before ordering; without neutral, installation is not possible until one is pulled.
• Which bulbs and what wattage does each channel take?

  At 220 V each channel carries up to 600 W incandescent or 200 W dimmable LED/CFL; at 110 V the figures are 300 W and 100 W. Bulbs must be marked dimmable — a non-dimmable LED will flicker or buzz. For small LED loads, raise the minimum-brightness threshold in the Tuya app.
• How do I control two light groups from one panel?

  The dimmer has two independent Star Ring discs: each drives its own light group with its own brightness, scenes and schedule. A tap switches a group on or off, a hold adjusts its intensity — all from the one glass faceplate.
• What is Multi-Control and how does it help?

  Multi-Control links several panels to one light in the app with no new wiring. In a long living room or a hallway with two entrances, the door dimmer and a second panel at the far wall drive the same chandelier together — a two-way setup done in software.
• Is there any difference between the white and grey version?

  Only the glass faceplate colour. The ZS-SR-EUD2-WH-MS is the white variant, its grey twin being the ZS-SR-EUD2-GY-MS; the electrical ratings, the two channels, the 0–254 dimming and the neutral requirement are identical. White matches light walls and white socket frames, common in new builds.
• Will the dimmer show up in Apple Home?

  Not directly: it is a Tuya Zigbee device with no native HomeKit/Matter support, and the manufacturer page makes no mention of Apple Home. The confirmed integrations are Tuya / Smart Life, Alexa and Google Home; if Apple Home is essential, choose a solution that bridges Tuya devices through Matter and confirm compatibility in advance.
