This scenario is for private-house owners — whether you are doing a major renovation or building a new multi-storey home with a yard, garage and technical rooms (boiler room, utility room, laundry). CasaSmart acts as a turnkey integrator: we design the system, route cables only where they are needed, and bring lighting, climate, security and water under a single central control.
At the core sits a local Home Assistant server, installed in your house. Lighting, climate, security and gates stay coordinated from one app, and core automations can keep working locally even when the internet drops. No monthly subscription, and no cloud dependency for the essential functions.
We build the system in stages, around your budget: you can start with the minimum safety set (leak sensors + water relay + control panel) and gradually extend to lighting scenes, zoned heating and video surveillance across the whole building.

FAQ
Does it work in an already finished house or only in new builds?
Both. In a new build we run the KNX bus and cabling from the start; in a finished house we use wireless solutions (Zigbee, Matter, Wi‑Fi) and Shelly relays fitted into back boxes, without breaking the walls.
Does the system depend on the internet?
Not for the core functions. The local Home Assistant server runs the essential automations even without internet; remote access and notifications use the network, but the heart of the system stays in your house.
Can we start with a small budget and expand later?
Yes. We recommend the minimum safety set (leak sensors + water relay + panel) and then add lighting, climate and cameras stage by stage, on the same platform.
Do you also cover the yard, gate and outdoors?
Yes — outdoor lighting, gate automation, outdoor cameras and an Ecowitt weather station for irrigation and seasonal scenarios.
