About this solution
A full Home Assistant solution puts a single local brain at the center of your home. Instead of five separate apps for lights, climate, cameras, and sensors, every device reports to a hub that runs in your house — a Home Assistant Green, a Yellow, or a dedicated mini-PC, sized to your home and the number of integrations. The logic, history, and automations live locally rather than on a server in another country, so response is fast and control stays with you.
We build the system on real, open protocols. For the Zigbee network we install a dedicated coordinator (for example SMLight) and integrate it into Home Assistant for bulbs, switches, sensors, and plugs. We add Matter and Thread for newer devices, Wi-Fi for relays and cameras, plus KNX, BLE, or IR wherever existing equipment calls for it. That lets us bring very different brands under one dashboard — Shelly, Sonoff, Aqara, MOES, Imou cameras, appliances, and thermostats — all of which we install and integrate, without locking you into a single ecosystem.
We deliver clear dashboards for phone, tablet, and wall panel, plus automations written in YAML that you can review: morning routines, presence simulation, reactions to motion or a door opening. We set up regular backups and, if you want remote access, the official Nabu Casa Home Assistant Cloud subscription or a VPN. The emphasis stays local-first: even if the internet drops, core automations can keep working inside the home.
We choose the hub by home size and number of integrations: a Home Assistant Green for simple projects, a Yellow with built-in Zigbee coordinator, or a dedicated mini-PC for large homes with many cameras and automations. For Zigbee we add a dedicated coordinator. The final recommendation comes after the free consultation.
Mostly, yes. Because the hub runs locally, core automations — lights, scenes, sensors, climate — can keep working in the home even without internet. Only features that explicitly depend on the cloud stop, such as remote access or external voice assistants. That is the local-first principle.
Yes. For remote access we set up the official Nabu Casa Home Assistant Cloud subscription — the simplest option — or a VPN to your hub if you prefer a fully private connection. Both give secure control from the app anywhere, without exposing insecure ports to the internet.
Usually yes. Home Assistant integrates a very large number of brands via Zigbee, Matter, Thread, Wi-Fi, KNX, BLE, and IR. At the consultation we review your equipment list — Shelly, Sonoff, Aqara, cameras, and more — and tell you clearly what integrates directly, what needs an adapter, and what is better replaced.
The initial consultation is free. Cost depends on home size, the chosen hub, and the number of devices, so we provide an estimate by project. Device prices come from our catalog. An on-site visit and detailed design are paid services, which we include transparently in the quote.
