• Which Zigbee gateways does the MINI-ZBDIM work with?

  The manufacturer recommends the ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro and iHost; the ZBDongle-P, ZBDongle-E, Dongle-M, Dongle-PMG24 and Dongle-LMG21 are also compatible. Without a Zigbee coordinator the module cannot operate — it has no Wi-Fi radio.
• Are Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA in Home Assistant supported?

  Yes, officially: the product page explicitly lists Home Assistant integration via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT paired with a Sonoff dongle. Control and automations stay fully local, with no eWeLink account required.
• How does the Zigbee version differ from the Matter MINI-DIM module?

  The power stage is the same: trailing-edge, 200 VA LED, 400 W incandescent, 2 A, calibration and power metering. The radio differs: the MINI-DIM joins Wi-Fi and Matter platforms with no gateway, while the MINI-ZBDIM lives in the Zigbee mesh — it keeps Wi-Fi free and reinforces the network as a router, but needs a coordinator. Pick whichever protocol your home is built on.
• Does the module really extend Zigbee network coverage?

  Yes. The MINI-ZBDIM is mains-powered and permanently acts as a mesh router, relaying packets for battery-powered sensors and buttons. The manufacturer explicitly positions it as a coverage extender — every module in a wall box shrinks the dead zones.
• What happens to the light if the internet or the hub goes down?

  Switches wired to S1/S2 keep controlling the light regardless — that logic lives in the module itself. Automations built in iHost or Home Assistant run locally without internet; the eWeLink cloud is only needed for remote access and voice assistants.
• Which bulbs can I connect and what are the limits?

  Official limits: dimmable LEDs up to 200 VA, incandescent and halogen lamps up to 400 W, dimmable electronic transformers up to 200 W; current no higher than 2 A. The bulb itself must support dimming — check its packaging. No minimum load is specified: run a single weak fixture through auto-calibration (hold the button 10 seconds).
• Can one light be controlled from two locations?

  Yes: S1 and S2 take two switches — rockers or push buttons (1, 2 or 3 gangs) — and both drive the same light from different spots, say the door and the bedside. The factory default is the dual push-button type; change it with a triple press of the service button or in eWeLink.
• Will the dimmer show up in Apple Home?

  Not directly: it is a Zigbee device with no Matter of its own. If Apple Home is a must, the Matter twin MINI-DIM is the cleaner pick. The alternative is the Matter bridge in the iHost or NSPanel Pro hubs, which exposes Zigbee devices to Matter platforms; check dimmer support for the gateway's current firmware.
