The office scenario is for companies, coworking spaces and premises with several rooms — reception, open space, meeting rooms, private offices and technical zones — where the daily flow of people, door access and energy use need to stay under control without effort from the team. CasaSmart acts as a turnkey integrator: we tie access control, climate, lighting, surveillance and energy into a single coordinated system.
At the core sits a local Home Assistant server, installed at the premises. Lighting and climate schedules for meeting rooms, security alerts and after-hours power shut-off run locally — over Zigbee, Matter, Thread, Wi-Fi and, where needed, a KNX bus. For door access control we fit Anviz readers, which we install and integrate into the system, while for relays and energy metering we use Shelly (official distributor).
We build modularly: we start with access control and basic lighting, then add climate schedules per meeting room, cameras and an alarm, energy monitoring and automatic shut-off of equipment left in standby after working hours.

FAQ
Can we grant different access per door and per employee?
Yes. With Anviz readers, each door has its own rules: who may enter, in which time window and by which method (card, code or fingerprint). Every entry is logged, and rights change quickly when someone leaves or joins the team.
Can meeting-room schedules be linked to the booking calendar?
Yes. We can switch on climate and lighting before a meeting based on a fixed schedule or a booking calendar, and at the end, when the room empties, the system turns everything off. The integration details we settle at the consultation, depending on the service you use.
Won't the after-hours power shut-off risk turning off the server or fridge?
No. We define the essential circuits up front — server, network, fridge, security systems — which always stay powered. The automatic shut-off acts only on the chosen circuits, such as monitors, desk sockets and standby equipment.
Does the system depend on the internet?
Not for the core functions. Access control, lighting and climate schedules and video recording run locally, on the Home Assistant server and the on-site NVR. Internet is only needed for remote access and push notifications.
