• Does the Shelly Wave Pro 2 need a Z-Wave hub?

  Yes. The module does not work on its own: it must be added to a network through a compatible Z-Wave hub or controller, such as one running Home Assistant or SmartThings.
• How much current does each channel handle?

  Each of the two channels switches up to 16 A, with a combined maximum of 25 A, at 110-240 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
• Can I use my existing switches with this module?

  Yes. The Wave Pro 2 has potential- contact inputs, so classic wall switches can be kept and used as a control signal without rewiring.
• Which Z-Wave frequency does the version for Moldova use?

  The EU version delivered in Moldova works on the 868.4 MHz Z-Wave band, with a Z-Wave 800 (S800) chip and S2 Authenticated security.
• How much panel space does it take?

  The module measures 94 x 19 x 69 mm and is a single DIN-module wide, so it mounts easily on the rail even in a nearly full panel.
• Do you offer warranty and installation in Moldova?

  CasaSmart provides a 24-month warranty. In-panel connections must be made by a licensed electrician; we can advise you on choosing a Z-Wave hub and the network topology.
