The retail / HoReCa scenario is for shops, cafés, small restaurants, bars, reception desks and offices that want to cut daily routine and losses. CasaSmart builds a system that turns lighting on and off by schedule, keeps the climate under control without staff having to manage it, watches over the space and warns about problems early — from a fridge display case warming up to a leak in the kitchen.
The logic is local-first: core automations run on an on-site Home Assistant hub over Zigbee, Wi-Fi and Matter. Lighting scenes, the opening–closing schedule and temperature alerts can keep working locally even if the internet goes down, and video is stored on a local NVR on the premises, not only in the cloud.
We build modularly: we start with lighting and basic control, then add cameras, climate and leak sensors, energy monitoring and access control for the service door. For relays and consumption metering we use Shelly (official distributor), for environment sensors Ecowitt (official distributor), while IP cameras, scene panels and the rest of the hardware we install and integrate into a single app.

FAQ
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Lighting scenes, the opening–closing schedule and local alerts run on the on-site Home Assistant hub. Internet is only needed for remote access and push notifications; core automations can keep working locally.
Can I monitor fridge temperature remotely?
Yes. We fit sensors in display cases, fridges and freezers, and the system sends a phone alert when the temperature leaves the set range, so you can act before stock spoils.
Do I have to redo all the wiring?
Not necessarily. Many components, including Shelly relays, mount behind existing switches, and Zigbee sensors are battery-powered. We modernize in stages, without shutting the space down.
Where are the video recordings stored?
On a local NVR on the premises, not only in the cloud. That way recordings stay with you, are easy to review and don't depend on an external subscription.
Can several employees use the system?
Yes. Besides the panels and buttons on site, we provide app access with different roles, so staff can trigger scenes while sensitive settings stay with the administrator.
