• How many devices are in the Shelly Plus RGBW PM (2-pack)?

  The set contains two identical Shelly Plus RGBW PM controllers, each in its own packaging, plus documentation. The two modules are wired and configured separately, suited to two rooms or two lighting circuits.
• Which LED strips does each controller support?

  Each module controls 12 and 24 V DC LED strips: single-color, RGB, and RGBW. It supports three profiles — RGBW, RGB, and four independent white channels — with a maximum current of 4 A per channel and 10 A combined.
• Does each module need its own power supply?

  Yes. The two controllers do not share one source: each needs its own 12 or 24 V DC power supply and its own wiring to the LED strip. Plan for two install locations and two PSUs.
• What does power metering (PM) mean?

  PM means each controller measures voltage (0-24 V, ±5%), current (0-10 A, ±10%), and power per channel in real time. This lets you see the strip's actual load and estimate the energy use of your lighting.
• Does it work without internet and what does it integrate with?

  Yes, both modules support local network control and an open API, so scenes work without the cloud. They integrate with Home Assistant, Google Home, Alexa, and SmartThings, with voice control and the Shelly app.
• Can I remove the acoustic noise of the LED driver?

  Yes. The PWM frequency is adjustable: 833 Hz by default, but it can be raised up to 22 kHz to remove the audible whine of the driver, which is useful in a bedroom or quiet rooms.
