• Does the Shelly Wave Shutter need a Z-Wave hub?

  Yes. The module communicates only over Z-Wave at 868.4 MHz and has no WiFi, so it requires a compatible Z-Wave controller or hub, such as Home Assistant with a Z-Wave stick or SmartThings.
• What is the maximum load per channel?

  Each of the two outputs supports up to 10 A at 110-240 V AC, which is enough for most roller shutter and blind motors.
• Can it measure the motor's energy consumption?

  Yes, the module measures instantaneous power in watts and accumulated energy in kWh, so you can track the consumption of each motor.
• Does it support blinds with adjustable slats?

  Yes. In venetian-blind mode the module controls both the percentage position and the slat tilt angle.
• Can I keep my existing wall switch?

  Yes, the module has two inputs SW1 and SW2 for the physical switch, which works in parallel with the app and scenes.
• Who should install the module?

  Because it connects to 110-240 V AC and to the shutter motor inside the in-wall box, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
