• Which Zigbee hubs are officially supported?

  Sonoff recommends the ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro and iHost, with ZBDongle-P/-E coordinators also compatible. Philips Hue and FritzBox gateways are explicitly unsupported. NSPanel Pro and iHost can additionally bridge Zigbee devices into Matter ecosystems.
• How do I get it into Home Assistant?

  Officially through a ZBDongle-P or ZBDongle-E coordinator: the manufacturer confirms both ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT, including percentage control, schedules, direction reverse and OTA updates. Calibration in those setups is started from the button on the module.
• What happens to my scenes when the internet goes down?

  Nothing: Zigbee scenes configured through the hub are stored and executed locally on the home network. Sensors on the same network keep raising and lowering the shutter; the only thing you lose is remote access from outside the house.
• Which sensor scenarios does the manufacturer itself recommend?

  Three examples from the official documentation: close the shutter on a motion sensor signal in security mode; open it fully when the temperature drops so the sun warms the room; raise it to 30 % in the morning for a gentle wake-up. SONOFF SNZB-series Zigbee sensors on the same network are a natural fit.
• Can I run the module with no wall switch at all?

  Yes. Per the official FAQ, whether S1/S2 are wired to an external switch or not has no effect on app control or automations — the module is fully functional without keys. If you do wire one, momentary, double-rocker shutter and three-position types are supported.
• Which shutter motor is compatible?

  A 4- or 5-wire 100–240 V AC motor with built-in limit switches drawing no more than 1 A — the typical tubular drives of roller shutters, roller and Roman blinds, venetians and awnings. DC motors are not supported, and only one motor may be wired per module.
• Is it true the module strengthens the Zigbee network?

  Yes, and it is a side bonus: being mains-powered, MINI-ZBRBS acts as a Zigbee router and relays packets for neighbouring devices. A few modules on the windows visibly stabilise the link with battery sensors across the whole home.
• The blind goes down on the 'up' command — what now?

  Try the software fix first: the Forward/Reverse setting on the device page swaps the rotation direction without opening the wall box. Alternatively, the electrician can physically swap the wires on the L out1 and L out2 terminals during installation.
