• Does the Shelly BLU H&T ZB Black sensor need a gateway?

  The ZB version pairs directly with a Zigbee coordinator, for example a Shelly Plus, Gen3, Gen4 or Pro device. If you want to use Bluetooth, you need a Shelly BLU gateway to send the data to the app and the cloud.
• Which battery does it use and how long does it last?

  The sensor is powered by a single CR2032 battery, with up to 3 years of autonomy under normal use.
• What temperature and humidity range does it measure?

  The device measures temperature from -20 to +60 °C and relative humidity from 0% to 100% RH.
• Can it be used in a bathroom or damp areas?

  Yes, the housing has IP54 protection and resists dust and water splashes, so it can be placed in the bathroom, kitchen or a covered outdoor area.
• Which smart home platforms does it work with?

  As open Zigbee, it can be integrated into platforms such as Home Assistant and other compatible Zigbee hubs, in addition to the Shelly ecosystem via Plus, Gen3, Gen4 and Pro devices.
• How do you pair it over Zigbee?

  Quickly press the button five times to activate Zigbee pairing, then add the sensor from your coordinator or hub. Four quick presses or a 10-second hold activates Bluetooth pairing.
