About this product
The BMT01 saves you from standing over the grill: push the stainless probe into the meat and the reading shows on the unit's own display and, over Bluetooth, on your phone in the eWeLink app. Set a target for beef, pork or poultry and when it is reached both the device and the phone sound an alert.<br><br>Two probes are included (the body supports up to four), and the probe is rated to 300 °C, so it works on the grill, in the oven and on the hob. It runs on 2 AAA batteries for over 180 two-hour grilling sessions, while °C/°F switching and a temperature chart help you cook precisely. The link is local Bluetooth with no cloud, at a range of up to 100 m.

Use cases
The probe sits in the pork neck over coals in the yard of a house near Chișinău while the phone alerts at the target temperature, with no standing in the smoke.
One probe reads the turkey core, another the oven temperature; the eWeLink app tells you when it is done so the Christmas roast does not dry out.
The body supports up to four probes, so the beef for guests and the chicken breast for the kids reach their target doneness at the same time.

Does the BMT01 connect to the internet or cloud?
No. It is a local Bluetooth thermometer: the eWeLink app handles settings and charts, but the phone must stay in range (up to 100 m). Remote monitoring over the internet is not possible.How many probes are included and can I add more?
Two probes are in the box and the body supports up to four. Extra compatible probes (Sonoff MPS01) are bought separately.What temperature can the probe handle?
The SUS304 steel probe measures from 0 to 300 °C, so it suits the grill, oven and hob. The unit itself only works between -10 and 55 °C.Does it work with Alexa, Google Home or Home Assistant?
No. The BMT01 does not integrate with voice assistants or Home Assistant; it is controlled only over Bluetooth from the eWeLink app.How is it powered and are batteries included?
By 2 AAA batteries (1.5 V), enough for over 180 two-hour sessions. The batteries are not included in the box.Can I track the meat and the grill temperature at once?
Yes. Use one probe in the meat core and another for the grill or oven air; the app alerts separately for each.Is the probe safe for food contact?
