About this product
The Shelly BLU H&T ZB Mocha is a compact wireless sensor that measures air temperature and humidity and sends the readings to your smart home over Zigbee (802.15.4) and Bluetooth 5 LE. The 37x37x10 mm body in the calm Mocha colour weighs only 13 g and mounts on a wall or sits on a shelf, staying almost invisible in any interior.<br><br>Temperature is measured from -20 °C to 60 °C and humidity from 0% to 100% RH, so the device suits living rooms as well as a bathroom, pantry or insulated balcony. Power comes from a single CR2032 battery (included) with a life of about 3 years, while the IP54 rating protects the electronics from dust and splashes.<br><br>Important: this is a BLU Bluetooth device, and to push data to the Shelly app and cloud it needs a gateway — the Shelly BLU Gateway or any Shelly Plus, Pro, Gen3 or Gen4 device (excluding sensors) acting as a Zigbee coordinator. Through the gateway the sensor connects to Home Assistant, Google Home, Apple Home and Alexa.

Where it works
Use cases
Above 70% humidity a Home Assistant automation turns on the fan, lowering the risk of mould.
The sensor tracks rising humidity and starts the extractor fan or dehumidifier through the gateway and scenes.
When the temperature drops below 5 °C you get a push notification and a heater turns on.
Measuring temperatures down to -20 °C helps monitor unheated spaces during winter in Chisinau.
The air conditioner, via Google Home, holds the set temperature based on sensor data.
Temperature and humidity readings are used to control an air conditioner and humidifier.
