About this product

A methane leak has no colour and almost no smell at low concentrations — and by the time your nose catches it, the kitchen is already dangerous. Shelly Gas CNG plugs into a socket next to the gas stove or boiler and watches the air continuously: when the concentration reaches 6% LEL, the light indicator and the built-in ≥70 dB siren go off.<br><br>The key difference from an ordinary standalone detector is Wi-Fi. The device sends a push notification straight to the Shelly app, so you learn about a leak even while at work or away. A valve-control output (11–13 V, 500 mA) lets you connect an electric valve to shut off the gas supply automatically. The shell is made of flame-resistant material, it is mains-powered at 110–230 V and draws under 3 W.
