The Shelly Gas Add-On Manipulator turns a leak alarm into a physical gas shut-off. When the Shelly Gas detector (CNG or LPG) registers a dangerous concentration, the manipulator rotates the manual valve 90 degrees and cuts the supply, even when nobody is home.<br><br>The electric arm clamps onto the gas pipe with the supplied bracket, compatible with 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1.25 and 1.5 inch pipes, while LPG cylinders are fitted between the bottle and the regulator. The 9-12 V DC power comes straight through the Shelly Gas detector jack, so no separate power supply is needed.<br><br>It is a passive accessory with no radio of its own, designed for kitchens, boiler rooms and spaces with a gas stove where an automatic response reduces the risk of fire or poisoning.
