About this product
The Shelly DALI Dimmer Gen3 bridges a professional DALI lighting bus and the Shelly ecosystem, aimed at designers and electricians working with high-grade luminaires.<br><br>The single-master controller adjusts the light intensity of DALI DT6-type drivers and includes a 16V bus power supply, so it can drive up to 5 control gears without an additional DALI power module.<br><br>The two inputs S1 and S2 accept buttons or switches in single or dual mode for direct local control from the wall. Wi-Fi 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connectivity enable control via the Shelly Smart Control app, scenes, weekly schedules and integration into KNX systems through wireless extension.

How many DALI luminaires can this dimmer control?
Thanks to the built-in 16V DALI power supply, the controller drives up to 5 DALI DT6 control gears without an extra power module. More drivers require an external DALI supply.Is a neutral wire required for installation?
Per the Shelly datasheet, a neutral wire is not mandatory to power the device. Operating voltage is 110-240 V~, so it wires into a distribution board or back-box on a Chisinau installation.Does it support color temperature tuning (tunable white)?
No. The device controls DT6-type gears with light-intensity dimming; color temperature control (DT8) is not supported by this model.Which wireless protocols does the Shelly DALI Dimmer Gen3 use?
The Gen3 device runs on Wi-Fi 2.4GHz (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.2 Low Energy. It does not include Zigbee, Matter or Thread.Where is the device installed?
The compact 42x37x17 mm, 18 g body mounts flush in the back-box behind the switch or in the false ceiling next to the DALI drivers. Operating temperature is -20°C to 40°C.Can it integrate with Home Assistant and voice assistants?
Yes. Via local API, MQTT and Shelly cloud it integrates with Home Assistant, Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Apple Home is unavailable as the model is not Matter-certified.
