A bypass hidden in the ceiling removes flicker and stabilises low-brightness ignition.
A few-watt LED bulbs flicker on a Shelly Dimmer Gen3 wired without neutral.

The Shelly Bypass for Dimmer Gen3 is a passive wiring accessory that solves a common problem in modern installations: no-neutral smart dimmers struggle to control very small LED loads correctly.

It is used together with a Shelly Dimmer Gen3 (and Dimmer Gen4) wired without a neutral conductor. When the fixture draws less than 20 W, the dimmer electronics may not receive enough current and the lamp flickers or stays dimly lit. The bypass provides an alternative current path that removes flicker and unstable ignition.

The housing is compact (39x23x13 mm, 8 g) and fits inside a back box or behind the ceiling light, wired to the neutral and to the dimmer output. Installation must be done by a licensed electrician. It operates at 220-240 V, 50 Hz.
