About this product

Shelly 2PM Gen3 leads a double life inside one wall-box housing. Set to cover mode, its two relays work as a pair to raise and lower blinds, roller shutters, awnings, gates or any bi-directional motor, remembering position and slat tilt on Venetian blinds; obstacle detection and a safety switch stop the motor when it jams. Set to two-channel mode, each output becomes an independent relay for a lighting circuit or a socket, with voltage, current and power measured separately on each channel. It handles 10 A per channel and up to 16 A total at 110-240 V~, and also runs on 24 V DC for low-voltage jobs. Connectivity is Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz plus Bluetooth, and after a firmware update the module becomes Matter compatible. Two inputs, S1 and S2, accept existing switches or push-buttons, so the familiar manual control stays intact for residents.

Use cases

At noon the blinds drop to 60% and tilt the slats to cut heat on the terrace.

In cover mode, 2PM Gen3 raises and lowers Venetian blinds and remembers position and slat tilt.

Hallway and bathroom sit on separate channels, and the app shows the wattage each one draws.

In two-channel mode, each output separately drives a lighting line and reports its consumption.
