About this product

The Shelly Wave i4 LR is a compact 4 digital-input module that turns ordinary rocker or push-button switches into a command source for an entire Z-Wave smart-home system. The device does not switch a load itself: it reads button presses and relays them into the Z-Wave network, triggering scenes and controlling other modules.<br><br>The module handles up to 16 scenes and up to 4 actions per input, runs on 110–240 V mains and fits inside a standard wall box behind the switch frame. Z-Wave Long Range extends communication range to 1000 m in open space using a star topology, while remaining compatible with the classic Z-Wave mesh network on 868.4 MHz.<br><br>To operate, the Wave i4 LR requires a Z-Wave controller or hub (for example one based on Home Assistant or SmartThings), through which input types, scene mapping and automations are configured.
