• Which hubs does it work with — and which not?

  The official list: SONOFF ZBBridge, ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro and iHost in eWeLink, the ZBDongle-P/E for Home Assistant (ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT), and the SmartThings Hub V3 / AeoTec V3. Philips, IKEA and Fritzbox gateways and the Zigbee hub inside Echo speakers are unsupported; if pairing fails, update the hub firmware first.
• How many scenes fit on a single key?

  Three: click, double-click and long press — each gesture gets its own scene in the app. A double-click only registers when the gap between presses is under 0.5 seconds.
• How do I mount it if drilling is not an option?

  The box includes a self-adhesive metal plate: stick it to a wall or furniture and the button holds onto it magnetically. The body can also just lie loose — on a nightstand or in a pocket: 45 mm across, 27.7 g.
• What battery is inside and how is it replaced?

  A 3 V CR2477: at 10 presses an hour the maker budgets up to 5 years, and eWeLink shows the charge level and warns when it runs low. To swap it, press the latch with a paper clip and turn the cover with a coin.
• Does it work as an emergency button for an elderly person?

  Yes — it is a use SONOFF proposes officially: a press sends push alerts to the family's phones through eWeLink. Once set up, the user needs no smartphone; the button sits on the nightstand or hangs on the wall within reach.
• Can it act as a doorbell?

  Yes: fix it by the entrance and a press sends a visitor notification — to a phone or onto an NSPanel Pro screen. The scene is built in eWeLink like any other.
• Does it reach Apple Home or Google Home?

  Apple Home — via a software Matter bridge (eWeLink CUBE or ZBBridge-U), where all three gestures work. Other platforms get only the single click across the Matter bridge; for Google Home the maker describes no button-specific features. Alexa routines fire through eWeLink with a SONOFF hub.
• How durable is the key itself?

  About 100,000 presses. There are no sensors inside — just a mechanical rebound key; at 50 presses a day that is over five years of use.
