Shelly Leak Sensor Cable is a 2 m rope leak detection cable designed as an accessory for the Shelly Flood Gen4 sensor. Unlike a single-point probe, this cable senses water the moment it touches any section along its full length, so you can protect entire runs - behind the washing machine, along the boiler or around the perimeter of a cellar.<br><br>The cable is 4 mm in diameter, weighs 37 g and is made of conductive polymer and insulated polymer in a black-and-white finish. Thanks to connectors at both ends you can chain several Leak Sensor Cables or extension cables together for up to 150 m of continuous detection without any extra power supply. It operates between -20 C and 40 C, which suits technical rooms and basements in Chisinau.<br><br>As a passive accessory the cable has no radio of its own - all alerts and automations are handled by the Shelly Flood Gen4 it is connected to.
