About this product
The Shelly RC Snubber is a passive wiring accessory built from a resistor and a capacitor in series, used together with Shelly relays whenever they switch inductive loads.<br><br>When a motor, pump or transformer is switched off, voltage spikes appear that can damage relay contacts over time. The snubber provides an alternative discharge path, dampens these spikes and extends the service life of the Shelly device.<br><br>It is wired in parallel with the inductive load, as close to the load as possible. Values: 0.1 uF capacitor, 100 Ohm resistor, 1/2 W power, 600 VAC rated voltage. Recommended for fans, air conditioners, washing machines, transformers and LED drivers. Always check the user guide of your Shelly device.
