A Shelly Gen3 with LoRa Add-on controls a pump far from the router.

Shelly LoRa Add-on is an expansion module that plugs into Shelly Gen3 and Gen4 devices through the proprietary serial interface and gives them long-range LoRa radio. It works in the EU868 band (plus US915 and 915-928 MHz regional variants where available) and keeps a link over distances of up to 5,000 m, depending on local conditions.

This is an accessory, not a standalone device: it needs a compatible Shelly host such as 1 Gen3, 1PM Gen3, 2PM Gen3, EM Gen3 or the Gen4 equivalents, supplying 3.3 V at under 150 mW. Data is encrypted with AES-CCM. Fitting it means opening the host, so installation is best handled by an electrician.
