• Can the Shelly EM Mini Gen4 turn connected appliances on or off?

  No. The EM Mini Gen4 is a pure energy meter with no relay - it only measures voltage, current, power and energy, it does not switch the load. For switching choose a Shelly module with a relay.
• What is the maximum current it can measure and is a CT clamp included?

  It measures directly inline up to 16A and 3840W and does NOT include a CT clamp. For circuits above 16A use an EM model with an external current transformer.
• What is the measurement accuracy of the Shelly EM Mini Gen4?

  Accuracy is ±1% for both the voltmeter and the ammeter, sufficient for household consumption monitoring and CSV reporting.
• Which wireless protocols and ecosystems does it support?

  It supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ax, Bluetooth 5.0, Zigbee 802.15.4 and Matter, integrating with Shelly Cloud, Home Assistant, Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa and SmartThings.
• Which conductors can be connected and how is it installed?

  The screw terminals accept conductors from 0.5 to 4 mm squared, max torque 0.4 Nm, stripped 6-7 mm. Inline installation is done by an electrician with the panel de-energised.
• Can I view consumption history and export it?

  Yes. Data is tracked in the Shelly Smart Control app, and recorded values can be exported in CSV format for consumption reports or billing.
