About this product
The Shelly 50A current transformer is a split-core accessory used exclusively together with the Shelly EM energy meter. It is not a stand-alone smart device: it has no Wi-Fi, does not join your network and does not appear separately in the app — it only feeds the measurement signal to the Shelly EM.<br><br>The clamp opens and snaps around the live conductor without cutting the wiring. It measures current up to 50A with 1% accuracy, and the internal window diameter is 11 mm. The 60 cm connecting lead plugs into the measurement terminal of the Shelly EM.<br><br>Note: this model is NOT compatible with Shelly Pro EM-50, Shelly Pro 3EM, Shelly EM Gen3 or Shelly Pro 3EM-3CT63 — those meters use dedicated clamps. Installation inside the consumer unit must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
