In a Chisinau apartment with a no-neutral switch, a bypass behind the fixture keeps the LED lamps fully off.
LED lamps flicker when the Shelly 1L Gen3 switch is off because of residual current.

The Shelly Bypass for 1L/2L Gen3 is a passive wiring accessory designed to be installed together with the Shelly 1L Gen3 and Shelly 2L Gen3 relays in setups without a neutral wire.

These no-neutral relays draw a small current through the load to power themselves. With low-power LED lamps this residual current can cause flickering or a faint glow when the light is off. The bypass provides an alternative path for that current, removing the issue and letting you control lamps rated above 5 W.

It mounts directly behind the light source, inside the wall box, connecting to the relay output wire and to neutral. The compact 39x23x13 mm body fits even in tight cavities. It is not a smart device: it has no radio protocol and works passively alongside the Shelly relay. For incandescent bulbs the bypass is not required.

With Shelly 2L Gen3 on two low-power LED lines, the residual current needs a path.
