A Chisinau apartment owner wants to see the real monthly usage and clamps the 80A CT on the phase in the panel, connected to the EM Gen3.
Measuring the whole-home consumption on the phase conductor of the main feed.

The Shelly 80A Current Transformer is a measuring accessory that clamps around a phase conductor and passes the current reading to the Shelly EM Gen3 energy meter. It does not work on its own: it is one component of a consumption-monitoring system and requires the Shelly EM Gen3 host device.

The ferrite core has a 7 mm inner window and accepts a conductor up to 4 mm, with a measurement accuracy of 1%. The clamp ships with a 60 cm lead fitted with a dedicated connector that plugs straight into the EM Gen3 inputs without screw terminals.

With a 20 Ω burden resistance, 3000 VAC dielectric strength and IP20 protection for indoor mounting, the transformer is meant for in-panel installation by a licensed electrician. For a single phase, use one transformer on the live conductor.
Measuring the whole-home consumption on the phase conductor of the main feed.
