About this product
The FrankEver Smart Water Valve DN25 is a motorised ball valve Powered by Shelly, made to control water remotely at the inlet of an apartment, house or garden. Its DN25 body with a 1-inch BSP thread fits onto the main pipe, while the stainless steel SS304 ball is NSF certified for drinking water.<br><br>It connects directly over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with no separate hub, and commands and automations are configured in the Shelly Smart Control app. The 0-100% position control allows both a full shut-off and partial flow limiting, while an internal power reserve completes the closing or opening action even when mains power drops.<br><br>Support for the DS18B20 temperature sensor adds frost-protection and leak-protection scenarios, useful for homes and gardens around Chisinau. The valve works at pressures up to 1.0 MPa and across a -30 to +60 degrees C range. Power is supplied through a 5V/2A USB adapter, sold separately.

What pipe size fits the DN25 valve?
The FrankEver DN25 valve has a 1-inch BSP thread and fits onto a 1-inch main water pipe. Check your pipe diameter before ordering; for smaller pipes there are DN15 (1/2") and DN20 (3/4") versions.Do I need a separate Shelly hub?
No. The valve connects directly over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and is controlled from the Shelly Smart Control app with no dedicated hub. Thanks to the Shelly chip it can also act as a Wi-Fi range extender and BLE gateway.What happens to the valve during a power cut?
The valve has an internal power reserve that lets it complete a close or open command even during a power outage, which is useful for flood-protection scenarios.Can I adjust the water flow, not just shut it off?
Yes. The valve supports 0-100% position control, so it can be set to an intermediate position to limit flow rather than only fully open or closed, useful for tuning irrigation.Is the valve safe for drinking water?
Yes. The ball and the wetted parts are made of stainless steel SS304 and are NSF certified for drinking water, so the valve can be installed on a potable water circuit.How is the valve powered and is the adapter included?
The valve is powered through a USB Type-A port at 5V/2A. The USB adapter is not included and must be purchased separately. Installation on the main pipe is best done by a qualified plumber.
