About this product
The Shelly 2PM Gen4 is a flush-mount module that switches two independent 230V circuits and measures power, voltage and current on each channel in real time.<br><br>Compared with the previous generation, Gen4 keeps 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth but adds an 802.15.4 Zigbee radio and Matter support, so the same relay can join several ecosystems without extra hardware.<br><br>The two inputs S1 and S2 accept classic switches or momentary buttons, while the dedicated cover mode drives blinds, roller shutters and awnings from a single device. The ESP-Shelly-C68F processor and 8MB of memory enable local scripting, scenes and MQTT for advanced automation in a Chisinau home.

Each of the two channels switches up to 10A, with 16A total across both outputs and an 18A peak, at 110-240V~ or 24VDC, with consumption metering on each output.Does it need a neutral wire for installation?
Yes, the module strictly requires a neutral (N) on its dedicated terminal in addition to line (L); without a neutral it cannot be powered correctly inside the back-box.Can it control blinds and roller shutters?
Yes, a dedicated cover mode uses the two channels as an up/down pair for blinds, roller shutters, awnings or venetian blinds with position calibration.Does it work with Matter and which ecosystems are supported?
The device is Matter-compatible (default Switch profile) over Wi-Fi and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Samsung SmartThings, Apple Home and Home Assistant.Which Wi-Fi band does it connect to?
The module uses 802.11 b/g/n/ax Wi-Fi exclusively on the 2.4GHz band, so the router must have its 2.4GHz network active during setup.
