The Shelly 1PM Gen4 is the version you pick when you do not want to be locked into a single ecosystem. The same in-wall module switches a load up to 16 A (3680 W at 230 V) and meters consumption in real time, but this time it speaks four wireless languages at once: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee and Matter. In practice that means one relay can join Apple Home over Matter, Home Assistant over Zigbee, or the Shelly app directly over Wi-Fi - the choice is yours and you can change it later without swapping hardware.

It mounts inside the back box behind an existing wall switch and needs no separate neutral wire for switching, which makes it workable in older apartment wiring. The SW input takes a standard switch or push-button, and the metered relay reports voltage, current and accumulated energy. It runs locally, with no mandatory cloud, so your automations keep working even when the internet drops. The compact 42x37x16 mm body fits the standard back boxes used across Moldova.
