About this product
Many switch boxes in older Chisinau apartments simply have no neutral wire, and that is exactly where the Shelly 1L Gen3 fits: it draws power from the live conductor and the wire going to the luminaire, with no separate neutral in the box.<br><br>The module switches up to 200 W of incandescent or LED lamps and offers two screw inputs, S1 and S2, for standard or two-way switches. For small LED loads a Shelly Bypass 1L/2L Gen3 is wired in parallel so the lamp does not flicker and the module keeps its supply.<br><br>It communicates over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, is controlled from the Shelly app through scenes, schedules and scripts, and will gain Matter support after a firmware update.
