Keep the 230V wall switch and use it to command an LED strip connected to Shelly Plus RGBW PM.

The Shelly 1-Channel Decoupler 230V is a passive wiring accessory, not a stand-alone smart device: it always works together with a Shelly module. At its core is an optocoupler (optical interface) that galvanically isolates the 230V~ circuit from the low-voltage side and generates a safe DC signal from an already existing AC signal.

This lets you keep a 230V wall switch or a relay output and pass the command to the low-voltage (DC) input of a module such as Shelly Plus RGBW PM, Pro RGBWW PM, Plus Uni or Plus Add-On. Key parameters: 230V~ 50 Hz input, maximum output current 2.4 mA, consumption below 0.6 W, dimensions 48x13x7 mm, weight 14 g, 80 mm cable, operating temperature 0...40 degrees C. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician.
Keep the 230V wall switch and use it to command an LED strip connected to Shelly Plus RGBW PM.
Convert a 230V signal from a relay output into a safe DC trigger for Shelly Plus Uni.
Bring an existing AC signal onto an input of the Shelly Plus Add-On through the decoupler.
Real-time consumption tracking via the eWeLink app. Daily, weekly and monthly history helps identify the most energy-hungry devices.
