How does it differ from the regular MotionProtect?
MotionProtect Plus adds a K-band microwave sensor to the PIR. An alarm triggers only when both sensors confirm motion — far fewer false alarms.Does it need an Ajax hub?
Yes. It runs on Jeweller and needs an Ajax hub. It is compatible with hubs and the ReX/ReX 2 extenders.When should I choose the Plus version?
Where a plain PIR gives false alarms: spaces with heat, draughts, sun. The second technology (microwave) makes the detector far more stable.Does it ignore pets?
Yes, when mounted correctly it ignores pets up to 20 kg in weight and 50 cm in height.Does it work with Home Assistant, Alexa or Google?
No. Ajax is a closed ecosystem; the detector is managed from the Ajax app, not via Home Assistant, Alexa or Google.What warranty and delivery do you offer?
