• Does the ZS-SF-EU1 need a separate hub?

  Yes. As a Zigbee 3.0 device it does not pair with a phone on its own — it needs a Tuya Zigbee gateway, sold separately. Without one the key will not join the Smart Life app and cannot be controlled remotely or by scenes. If you have no gateway, one can be added to the same order.
• Is a neutral wire required in the box?

  Yes, the neutral is mandatory. The ZS-SF-EU1 is the neutral-wire version and will not work without it. Check the back box before ordering: in older Chișinău stock, where only line and return reach the switch, a neutral will have to be run. For a no-neutral install, choose a different version.
• Why matte grey glass and not glossy?

  The AG matte skin-feel glass leaves no fingerprints, does not glare like a mirror and stays warm to the touch. On an anthracite wall, on wood or on dark plaster, the matte grey blends into the finish rather than jumping out. The same key also comes in white if the wall is light.
• How much load does the key take?

  Up to 10 A on the single key, with 90–250 V~, 50/60 Hz input. It is built for lighting — a ceiling fixture, spots, a chandelier — not for heating appliances such as a water heater or electric heater, which exceed the rated current. For power circuits use a dedicated relay.
• What is the 4-level haptic vibration?

  On every touch the key answers with a short vibration you set across 4 intensity levels, from a light pulse to a firm response. In the dark you feel that you pressed without looking. Together with the soft backlight, it makes a press at night sure without switching on another light.
• How does the 2-in-1 light-and-scene mode work?

  The same key has two roles: in light mode it switches the lamp directly, and in scene mode it starts a whole scene (for example evening lights and other devices). The switch is one tap in the Smart Life app; the two modes do not run at once, so you pick one.
• Will the light work if the internet or gateway fails?

  The key stays an ordinary touch switch, so it turns the light on and off locally even without internet — the signal goes through the home Zigbee gateway, not a server. Only remote control, schedules and cloud scenes wait for the connection to return. If the gateway itself fails, touch control of the light remains.
