This multi-mode gateway runs Zigbee 3.0, Bluetooth 5.0 (BLE) with Bluetooth Mesh and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi at the same time, so motion sensors, door contacts, bulbs and buttons all talk without separate hubs.<br><br>Everything is managed from the Xiaomi Home / Mi Home app (iOS and Android), where you build local automations and scenes. The hub is Apple HomeKit certified, so you can command devices by voice through Siri, while Home Assistant enthusiasts can integrate it over LAN. Being HomeKit certified, the hub brings Mijia devices into the Home app on iPhone, and you can command them by voice with Siri alongside your other Apple accessories.
Zigbee scenes run locally on the hub, so motion lighting or open-door alerts keep working even if the Wi-Fi network loses its internet connection.
