• Does it really handle a 4000W heater and an air conditioner?

  Yes. The ZS-SR-EUB is sized for heavy loads: it switches up to 20A and 4000W at 95-250V AC — exactly the power class of an electric water heater or an air-conditioning unit. An ordinary light switch will not carry these currents; this one goes on the dedicated circuit behind a suitable 20A breaker.
• What does the double-pole design mean and why does it matter?

  Double-pole switching breaks both conductors at once, not just live, with dual cutoff and double insulation. For a heater sitting under water and pressure, that means the circuit is fully dead on a fault, not half-dead — a genuine safety gain over a single-pole relay.
• What does the energy meter show?

  The module measures the line's consumption in real time and reports it in the app per day, per week and per month, so you can see how much of the bill comes from the heater or the AC. Moes claims up to 30% savings if you schedule it off during the hours nobody needs hot water or cooling.
• Does it need a hub, and which one?

  Yes. As a Zigbee 3.0 device, the official page explicitly requires a ZigBee gateway, bought separately. The simplest is a Zigbee/Tuya hub, after which the switch appears in the Tuya/Smart Life app; as standard Zigbee 3.0 it also pairs into a SmartThings hub. Without a gateway there is no remote control.
• Does it require a neutral wire?

  Yes — it is the "Neutral Required" version. As a power relay with permanently powered electronics and an energy meter, it needs both live and neutral in the box. It cannot be fitted in a single-live box with no neutral; check the conductors before ordering or have an electrician confirm.
• Can I install it myself?

  We do not recommend it as a DIY job. At 20A on a heater or AC circuit you need the right cable cross-section, a correctly rated breaker and terminals torqued tight — a loose terminal heats up at high current. The neutral-wired install inside the box is a job for a qualified electrician.
• How does it differ from the grey variant?

  The specs are identical — 20A, 4000W, double-pole, with an energy meter and Zigbee 3.0. Only the colour of the Star Ring glass face differs: this version is white (ZS-SR-EUB-WH-MS), and the grey twin is ZS-SR-EUB-GY-MS. White suits light walls and white switch frames.
