• How is the POWR320D different from the POWR316D and POW Origin?

  Within the Elite series the power path differs: 20 A, a 4500 W factory protection threshold and 6 mm² terminals versus 16 A / 4000 W / 4 mm² on the 316D. POW Origin (POWR316) is the 16 A variant without the LCD.
• Can it run an 80–100 litre storage water heater?

  Yes, with margin: a 1.5–3 kW element draws roughly 7–13 A at 230 V, about half the relay's limit. An electrician wires it into the live conductor with a neutral on the N terminals and a breaker up to C20A upstream.
• Does it offer a dry-contact mode for a gas boiler?

  No. The output is switched 100–240 V mains, so it must not be wired to a gas boiler's dry-contact input. Sonoff's MINI-D covers that job; the POW Elite is meant for loads powered directly from the mains.
• Which protection thresholds are set at the factory?

  Power protection at 4500 W and current protection at 20 A ship enabled. In eWeLink you set your own minimum and maximum limits for current, voltage and power — crossing any of them makes the relay cut the line and send a notification.
• Can it limit the boiler's consumption by itself?

  Yes. Set a daily or monthly kWh goal — you get a push when it is reached, and a scene like 'consumption above goal — switch off' cuts the heating. There are also schedules, a loop timer and inching from 0.5 s to 59 min 59.5 s.
• Does the on-screen kWh counter need a manual reset?

  Not necessarily: past 9999 kWh the cumulative counter rolls over to zero on its own. If you prefer a clean slate, the app has Reset Consumption — the 6-month hourly history in eWeLink stays intact either way.
• How do I pair it with the app for the first time?

  On first power-up the module waits three minutes for Bluetooth pairing: enable Bluetooth on your phone, tap '+' in eWeLink and follow the prompts. The network must be 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi; hold the button for about 5 seconds to re-enter pairing mode.
