• Does it need a Zigbee gateway?

  Yes. The official Moes page states it plainly: the Zigbee version requires a Zigbee gateway, bought separately. The thermostat is added to the Tuya/Smart Life app through that gateway, and without one it stays a manual wall thermostat. If there is no Zigbee hub in the house, we can help pick a suitable one.
• What type of heating does this version switch?

  The GB version (ZHT-SR-GB-WH-MS) is for electric floor heating, a resistive load up to 16 A. For water heating there is the GA variant, and for a water/gas boiler the GC variant, both 5 A, in the same Star Ring family. This card is strictly the 16 A electric model in white — check your heating type before ordering.
• How does it differ from the Matter-over-WiFi version?

  The Star Ring Zigbee uses a mesh network and a mandatory Zigbee gateway, while the Matter-over-WiFi variant in the same Moes range joins the router directly with no hub. Zigbee brings a stable local network and low radio draw; if you prefer to skip a separate gateway, the no-hub choice is the Matter-WiFi version.
• How do I schedule the warm floor by day?

  The weekly program takes up to 48 steps in a single day, so each day can have its own warm hours — for example warm in the morning and evening, eco during the day. Programming is done from the Tuya/Smart Life app or directly on the dial, and the maker claims savings of up to 20% on electricity through exactly this fine control.
• Does it work with Alexa and Google Home?

  Yes — through the Zigbee gateway and the Tuya/Smart Life app the thermostat reaches Amazon Alexa and Google Home, both stated explicitly by Moes on the official page. From there the warm floor can be controlled by voice or added to scenes alongside lights and other devices. Voice goes via the gateway, so the Zigbee hub stays required.
• Can I put it in a bathroom and install it myself?

  The housing is rated IP20, so it mounts in the dry zone of a bathroom or in a kitchen, not by the shower or in a direct-splash zone. Installation is an electrician's job: the thermostat wires into a back-box with live and the 16 A heating line, and the NTC floor probe lays into conduit in the screed.
• How accurately does it hold temperature and what does it show?

  The NTC3950 10K sensor holds temperature to ±1 °C, the set range is 5–35 °C, and the display reads up to 99 °C in 9 languages, Russian included. The schedule timing error is under 1%, and the glowing ring shows the heating state at a glance.
