• Does it need a Zigbee gateway?

  Yes. The ZHT-SR is a Zigbee version, and the official page says it plainly: 'ZigBee version requires a ZigBee gateway, please purchase separately'. The thermostat does not join the router on its own — it needs a Tuya/Moes gateway through which it enters the mesh. Once paired, control stays local, on the same network as your other sensors and relays.
• How does it differ from the WiFi/Matter version?

  This is the Zigbee version, so it needs a gateway, but it runs on the local mesh alongside the Zigbee sensors and relays in your home. The WiFi/Matter model in the same range connects straight to the router, with no gateway, but does not join a Zigbee mesh. Choose Zigbee if you already run a Tuya/Zigbee hub; WiFi if you want a direct, hub-free connection.
• What type of heating does this version switch?

  The GB version (ZHT-SR-GB-GY-MS) is for electric floor heating, a resistive load up to 16 A. In the same family the GA is for water floors and the GC for a boiler or gas, both only 5 A. This card is strictly the 16 A electric model in grey — check your heating type before ordering.
• What exactly is the 'Star Ring' and what colour is it?

  The Star Ring is a round glass dial with a ring of light that wakes at a touch; brightness is adjustable 0–100%, and at night the ring can be switched off entirely. This model is the grey finish (a white version also exists) and pairs with dark tiles and black taps. The panel shows nine languages, Russian included, and has a child lock.
• Will it still work if the internet goes down?

  Yes. Zigbee control is local: once the thermostat is paired with the gateway, the daily schedule and the on-ring adjustment keep working even if the internet or cloud is down. Remote app control and voice assistants need a connection, but the heating itself does not depend on the cloud.
• How do I schedule the warm floor by day?

  The schedule takes up to 48 slots per day, so you can set warm mornings and evenings and eco during the day. Programming is done from the Smart Life app or directly on the ring, and the eco and temporary modes help cut consumption — the maker claims up to 20% savings over a mechanical thermostat.
• Can I install it myself?

  Installation is an electrician's job: the thermostat wires into a back-box, powered at 95–245 V~, with the 16 A electric heating line, and the NTC floor probe lays into conduit in the screed. The body is fireproof PC+ABS rated IP20 — indoor use only, kept clear of splashes.
• Does it work with Alexa and Google Home?

  Yes — through the Zigbee gateway and the Smart Life app (Moes runs on the Tuya platform) the thermostat links to Amazon Alexa and Google Home, so you can say 'two degrees warmer' by voice. SmartThings is supported as standard for the Tuya/Zigbee devices we stock, though the official Moes page does not name it explicitly.
