• What heating type is the GC version for?

  The GC version (ZHT-SR-GC-GY-MS) is for a gas boiler or water system, a load up to 5 A — it drives the boiler's thermostat input (a dry contact). For a 16 A resistive electric floor there is the GB sibling, and for a water floor the 5 A GA variant, all in the Star Ring family. Check your heating type before ordering.
• Does it need a Zigbee hub?

  Yes. As the Zigbee version (Tuya ZT3L module), the thermostat strictly needs a separate Tuya Zigbee gateway, bought separately — it does not join WiFi directly, unlike the Moes Matter models. Through the gateway it reaches the Tuya/Smart Life app and scenes, and once paired control stays local, without internet.
• How does it wire to a gas boiler?

  Wall-hung boilers have a room-thermostat input, usually a dry contact (no voltage). The ZHT-SR-GC switches that line with its 5 A relay, firing and stopping the burner by the room temperature. It runs on 95–245 V~ and mounts in an 86 mm box. Check on the boiler diagram that the input is a dry contact; the wiring is an electrician's job.
• What is the Star Ring and how does it look in grey?

  The Star Ring is the glowing ring around the touch display, the visual signature of this Moes series. On this SKU the glass panel is grey, with adjustable standby brightness so it does not glare at night in an open living room. The white version (ZHT-SR-GC-WH-MS) has the same functions; only the panel colour differs.
• Will it still work if the internet goes down?

  Yes. After pairing through the Zigbee gateway, control is local: the weekly schedule and the glass-panel adjustment keep firing and stopping the boiler even without internet. The online link is needed only for remote app control and the Alexa and Google Home voice assistants.
• Which ecosystems and apps does it work with?

  The thermostat is added in the Tuya/Smart Life or Moes app through the Zigbee gateway, and from there it is exposed to Amazon Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings for voice and automations. The on-panel interface has 9 languages, Russian included, handy in a Moldovan home.
• Can I install it myself?

  Installation is an electrician's job: live, neutral and the wires to the boiler's thermostat input are connected in an 86 mm box. The fireproof PC+ABS housing is IP20, so indoor dry rooms only — not for wet areas. Before fitting, check the boiler diagram for the input type (dry contact) and the wiring order.
