• Does it need a hub, or does it connect to the phone?

  The ZB-TDD9 is a ZigBee 3.0 end-device and does NOT connect to a phone directly — it needs a Tuya/ZigBee gateway (a Moes hub or any Tuya ZigBee gateway), sold separately. Through that hub it appears in the MOES/Tuya Smart Life app. With no gateway, the app cannot see it.
• How much light does it give, and is it enough for a worktop?

  It gives 1055 lm at 9 W with a 120° beam, enough for a small work zone. For a long worktop fit 2-3 units under group control so the light is even across the whole surface, not a tight circle under each spot.
• What does the 2700K-6500K range give for work and make-up?

  Cool 6500K is daylight that renders colours faithfully — good at the worktop for cooking and at the mirror for make-up or shaving. Warm 2700K is pleasant in the evening. Tuning is smooth from the app, plus RGB across 16 million colours for mood.
• Can it be fitted over a bathroom mirror?

  Yes, but in a dry, ventilated bathroom, away from direct splashes — not straight over the tub or shower: Moes does not publish an IP rating for this model, so we treat it as an indoor fitting. For the shower zone pick a spot rated ip44 or higher.
• What hole diameter do I need in the ceiling?

  The 9 W body measures Ø60 × 59 mm and the maker's page lists an 88-115 mm mounting hole. As the readings were unclear, measure the real cut-out and depth in the ceiling before ordering, especially if you are replacing an existing spot.
• Which platforms does control work on?

  Through the Tuya/ZigBee gateway the light runs in the MOES/Tuya Smart Life app and takes Alexa and Google Home voice commands; SmartThings integration is supported too. From there it joins scenes, group control, music sync and timers.
• How do I fit it in place of an existing spot?

  Remove the old spot and wire the ZB-TDD9 onto the same 110-240 V ceiling line. The maker does not publish a firm cut-out diameter, so measure the hole before ordering. The work is done with the power off at the board and is an electrician's job.
