• Does it need a hub, or does it connect to the phone?

  The ZB-TDD12 is a ZigBee 3.0 end-device and does NOT connect to a phone directly — it needs a Tuya/ZigBee gateway, bought separately (a Moes hub or any Tuya ZigBee gateway). Through that hub it appears in the Tuya/MOES app. With no gateway, the app cannot see it.
• How bright is it, and can it be a living room's main light?

  It gives 1400 lm at 12 W with a 120° beam — the top of the TDD range. Two or three spots cover an average living-room ceiling evenly and can replace the central pendant. For a larger room, add units under group control so the light is even across the whole area.
• What cut-out does it need, and does it differ from the 6W or 9W?

  The 12 W version needs a 109-140 mm hole, and the body is Ø140 × 64 mm — larger than the 6 W or 9 W models in the same series, which use smaller cut-outs. Before ordering, measure the diameter and depth of the ceiling hole so the spot fits without rework.
• What does the 2700K-6500K range mean in practice?

  It means one lamp runs from warm 2700K, pleasant in the evening and at the table, to cool 6500K — daylight for work, reading or the kitchen. The 1-100% dimming is smooth from the app or scenes, and beyond white there is RGB across 16 million colours.
• Which platforms does control work on?

  Through the Tuya/ZigBee gateway the spot runs in the Tuya/MOES app and takes Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice commands. The official page does not list SmartThings, so we do not promise it. From the app it joins scenes, group control, family sharing, music sync and schedule automation.
• How do I fit it in place of an existing light?

  Remove the old fitting and wire the ZB-TDD12 onto the same 230 V ceiling line. First check that the 109-140 mm cut-out and the depth fit. The work is done with the power off at the board and is an electrician's job; the spot itself ships without an installation service.
• Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?

  We do not recommend it for wet or outdoor areas: Moes does not publish an IP rating for this model, so we treat it as an indoor fitting — living room, bedroom, dry kitchen, office or hallway. The maker does not state an operating temperature for this model either.
