• Does it need a hub, or does it connect to the phone?

  The ZB-LZD7 is a ZigBee end-device and does NOT connect to a phone directly — it needs a Tuya/ZigBee gateway. Moes explicitly recommends a Tuya ZigBee hub for the best compatibility. Through that hub it appears in the Tuya/Smart Life app; with no gateway, the app cannot see it.
• Is 7 W enough, and for which room?

  The 7 W suit accent or general light over a small area — a hallway, a shelved niche or a small bedroom. For a larger room choose the 10 W version of the same family, or fit several 7 W units under group control on one ceiling.
• What does the 2700K-6500K range mean in practice?

  It means one lamp runs from warm 2700K, pleasant in the evening and in a hallway, up to cool 6500K daylight for work or reading. Tuning is done from the app or scenes, and beyond white it also offers RGB across 16 million colours for mood.
• Which platforms does control work on?

  Through the Tuya/ZigBee gateway the spot runs in the Tuya/Smart Life app and takes Alexa and Google Home voice commands; it also works with Samsung SmartThings and Philips Hue. From there it joins dimming, group control, music sync and the memory function.
• How do I fit it in place of an existing spot?

  Remove the old spot and wire the ZB-LZD7 onto the same 110-250 V ceiling line. The maker does not publish the cut-out diameter, so measure the hole and depth before ordering, especially in a hallway with a low ceiling. The work is done with the power off at the board and is an electrician's job.
• Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?

  We do not recommend it for wet or outdoor areas: Moes does not publish an IP rating for this model, so we treat it as an indoor fitting — hallway, living room, bedroom or office. For a bathroom or outdoors choose a fitting with a stated IP rating.
• What happens to the lamp after a power cut?

  The memory function restores the last brightness and colour after power returns, so the spot does not come on at a random setting — handy in a hallway where the light is switched on often. The exact power-on behaviour can be set in the Tuya/Smart Life app.
